Start your day’s adventure (click on the image to view the video) in complete comfort by taking the Hanazono Bus - We have improved the bus service for this winter to ensure you are close to a pick up or drop off. The route covers the Hirafu and Izumikyo areas with a service every 30 mins. Click here to download the bus map.

Take advantage of Hanazono's Free Overnight Equipment Storage
– When taking the bus you can leave your equipment overnight at 308 or get our team at Demo to wax your board or skis for the next day of adventure. Use the spacious changing rooms and lockers to get ready and then treat yourself to a Lavazza coffee and muffin from the 308 Café.

Great Food, Great Style
- The outstanding 308 restaurant dishes up the famous Kani Ramen plus other sumptuous local treats to tempt the taste buds and satisfy the hungriest of alpine appetites.

What's New


Improved access between Hanazono & Hirafu - It is now easier to circulate between Hanazono and Hirafu. Newly completed earthworks on Parallel will ensure a smooth run into Hanazono and a new link lift at the top of Hanazono 2 to avoid a climb to access the Holiday trail. Entertainment & Activities - 308 continues to feature daily entertainment at lunchtime and Après with DJ’s, live music and movies. We will be showing the latest Warren Miller movie "Children of Winter" and the Teton Gravity Research movie "re:Session". Happy hour every day from 3 to 5pm - beer, wine and shots. Kamonohashi Show - Kamanohashi is excited to present his new show, featuring: dancing, singing, games, prizes and fun for the kids. Don't tet them miss out, the show is on every Tuesday and Saturday at 1pm.

Café 1 at Hanazono 1 Lift
- Need a quick coffee, hot chocolate or a snack? We have made it easy for you to take time out to fuel up with the introduction of Café 1 at the base of Hanazono 1 lift. 100yen Hot Chocolate daily from 8.30am to 10am.

NISS Snowsports School
- We Love Kids, kids are our specialty and NISS operates Kids Centres at both Hirafu and Hanazono which boasts 2 dedicated outdoor learning areas, 2 indoor facilities and 4 magic carpets. DEMO Equipment Hire - Rent your equipment with us from Hirafu and we will drop it off to your accommodation or rent from Hanazono 308 and we will wax your board or skis free of charge.
